Today, we’re trying to find a new home for a really special rifle. This is a custom FN A3G HRT in .308win— one of the few long range rifles that is guaranteed to shoot sub-1/2MOA from the factory. It’s also one of only two rifles used by the FBI’s elite Hostage Rescue Team (HRT). Sadly, the A3G HRT is going away in favor of less accurate, less expensive, and easier to produce FN A5 models. So, this iconic gun is quickly becoming a rarity in the world of precision rifles– with values going up an average of 10% each year. This particular A3G HRT has been upgraded with a match trigger job, custom Badger Ordnance bolt handle, and has been threaded for its AAC muzzle brake/silencer mount. The fluted, match-grade, heavy barrel is 26″ and has a 1:12 twist. The entire barreled action has been finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote. The McMillan stock has been finished in Sage Cerakote with an adjustable cheek piece in Burnt Bronze. Badger Ordnance 30mm rings are also in Burnt Bronze. This complete turnkey solution includes a Harris bipod, scope and crown cover, and Blackhawk! bag/shooting mat. If you don’t have your own glass, the Vortex Viper PST 6-24×50 front focal plane optic is available for only $749 ($999 MSRP). If you don’t have a suppressor, the AAC 762-SDN-6 in FDE is available for $1049. The rifle is priced competitively at $3999 and is ready to ship to its new home. If you know anyone that is interested in long range shooting, please pass this info along.
